Notes:

 

1.

From the 1923 grouping through to 1928 the locomotives LB&SCR numbers were retained with a ‘B’ prefix added.

2.

Nos. 105 to 109 were ordered in Mar-14 but were delayed by the First World War.

3.

Tank vents removed by LB&SCR.

4.

Whistles relocated from cab roof, cab roof trimmed and steps inset to conform with SR composite loading gauge when Eastleigh commenced maintenance post-grouping.

5.

Nationalisation renumbering commensurate with fitment of Ashford-pattern injectors replaced Weir-type and feed-water heating equipment discarded.
